Workshops

I have been teaching jewellery since 2014. I began by working with The Workers' Educational Assocation to design and deliver a mining heritage inspired course. After this I took up the opportunity to work as an Adult Community Learning Jewellery Tutor with Cornwall College and also organised workshops from my studio and from various locations around Cornwall. In 2018 I collaborated with Cultivator and Cornwall College to deliver a workshop based on the Fishing industry with learners aged between 18 and 19 years.

I have recently moved into a new studio at Salt Cellar Workshops in Porthleven, Cornwall, which fits up to 3 people.

Beach Treasure Jewellery Workshops

Suitable for beginners and those with some experience too!

My workshop is located close to the beach and it only seems right to be capturing some of the little treasures that are found along the coast. During these workshops you will learn a traditional bezel setting technique to transform your beach treasure into jewellery.

Sea Glass Jewellery Workshops

Sea glass, otherise known as mermaid tears, is a popular beach treasure choice during my workshops. This why I have set up dedicated sea glass jewellery workshops !

Make a silver ring in a day

If you are a complete beginner to jewellery making, learning to make a ring is a great place to start! You were lots of basic jewellery making skills, including piercing, filing, sizing, filing, texturing and polishing !

If setting sea glass and beach treasures isn't your thing, then why not join me and learn how to set cabochon stones instead!

Little Gems Silver Fingerprint Jewellery

Since becoming a mother I have been running my Little Gems workshops. There you work together with your little one to capture their fingers print in some very special precious metail clay. You can also create a piece of jewellery that contains more than one fingerprint if you like too! Small nscriptions can be added in your hand writing.

Once youa are happy with the design it is left with me to fire and polish before sending it back to you :)
